The Dexter Tigers boys soccer team will try and overcome low numbers and make a run at a postseason appearance.
“We lost a good amount of solid players but we also still have a solid core. I am hoping and expecting we finish strong and make a prelim game if we are able to stay healthy,”Dexter coach Andrew Bermudez said. “With low numbers this might be hard.”
The Tigers will have a solid keeper in Brett Kusnierz and a key offensive player in Nathan “Buggy” Richards returning from a team that finished 6-8 last season.
Dexter will open the season on September 7th at Guilford against PCHS. The Tigers will have a difficult schedule that will feature two games against Class B contender Foxcroft. Two against Class D south contender PCHS. They will also have three games against Class C favorites Orono (2) and George Stevens (1).
