DEXTER– For the second time this season the Piscataquis Community High School (PCHS) Pirates and Dexter Tigers boys soccer teams played through rain on a muddy field. Just like the first meeting on September 7th, the Pirates came away with a victory. This time it was 9-2 behind hat tricks from freshman Christian Homchuck and junior Kobe Gilbert.

Homchuck got the scoring started just 10 minutes into the contest when he took a pass from Gilbert and put it into the back of the net. Exactly four minutes later Colby Chadwick gave the Pirates a 2-0 lead. Homchuck and Gilbert each added one more first half goal to make it 4-0.

The Pirates got the second half started by going ahead 5-0 as Homchuck completed his hat trick with 32:53 remaining. Gilbert scores two goals within 54 seconds of each other to complete his hat trick and give PCHS a 7-0 lead with 28:03 remaining. Fischer Cobb and Hunter Martell each added one goal for the Pirates. Cobb, Ty Massie, and Gabe Soctomah each had one assist. Matt Robinson had four saves on eight shots for the Pirates. PCHS (3-4-1) will host Penquis on Thursday.

Nate Richards had one goal and one assist, while Seth Robbins had one goal for the Tigers. Brett Kusnierz had 20 saves on 36 shots. Dexter (0-9) will host Central on Thursday.
