When you’re part of a sports team you are part of a family. The Freeport Falcons football family are stepping up for one of their own.
When the Falcons found out one of their brothers had no heat or running water in his house they stepped up.
“We’ve all been playing football together since we were little kids,”Freeport junior Jack Coffin said. “My teammates are like my brothers, and we would do anything to help each other.“
The Falcons didn’t know their teammate has been struggling for the past year, but since they found out the football family is trying to make sure those struggles are gone forever. The Freeport football team started up a Gofundme account. To donate click here.
