The PVHS Lady Howlers ventured north to Lincoln to battle the Mattanawcook Academy Lady Lynx. In a mutual season opener.
The first half was all Lady Howlers’ smothering defense as they held the Lady Lynx to just two points at half with a score of 27-2.
PVHS was able to coast to a 42-16 win. Lexi Ireland filled the stat sheet with 14 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists. Junior Emily St. Cyr added 12 for the Lady Howlers.
