As announced by Head Coach Amy Vachon on Tuesday afternoon, senior forward Maeve Carroll has decided to return to the Maine women’s basketball team for a fifth season in 2021-22.
Under new rules with the NCAA, the Oakton, Virginia native uses the free year of eligibility because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Carroll is averaging 10.4 points and 6.5 rebounds per game this season for the 15-2, 12-2 Black Bears. Here is the press release courtesy of the University of Maine-
