Portland, Maine- Major League Baseball has announced the Sea Dogs 2021 schedule. The Sea Dogs will open the season on May 4th hosting the New Hampshire Fisher Cats at Hadlock Field.
The 2021 season will consist of a 120-game schedule (60 home and 60 away) consisting of 20 six-game series. The series will run Tuesdays through Sundays with Mondays serving as an off/ travel day.
Game times will be announced at a later time.
The Sea Dogs will face six of their closest Northeast League opponents in 2021 including the Binghamton Rumble Ponies (Mets), Harrisburg Senators (Nationals), Hartford Yard Goats (Rockies), New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays), Reading Fightin Phils (Phillies), and the Somerset Patriots (Yankees).
The Sea Dogs are in the process of working with state officials to gain approval to host fans in a reduced capacity at Hadlock Field. Once we have more information, we will release details along with 2021 ticket information. The Sea Dogs promotional schedule will also be announced at a later time.
