Bronco-Hermon L.L., Hampden is the host team at the 2016 Senior League World Series

The 2016 Senior League World Series will begin one week from tonight with  the opening ceremonies. Bronco-Hermon L.L., Hampden will be the host team for the first time since 2012. The team with players from Hermon and Hampden put nine runs on the scoreboard in the third inning and rolled to a 13-0 win over Brewer in the District 3 Senior League championship game.

Bronco-Hermon L.L., outscored opponents 33-5 in their four games at the district tournament. They will play their first game at the Senior League World Series on Sunday, July 31st at 5 PM against the U.S. Southwest representing. Click here for the full 2016 Senior League World Series schedule.

Other teams to qualify for the a World Series include Roberto Clemente L.L., Carolina, Puerto Rico, Southern Mariners, Melbourne, Australia, and  Cataluña L.L., Barcelona, Spain. All the regional champions will be crowned in the coming week.
