Each week during the high school sports season, Eastern Maine Sports will announce a female and male athlete of the week. You can send your nominations during the week to Marc at easternmainesports@gmail.com. When you send your nominations include the athlete, name of the school, stats for the week of the nomination. Here is a full list of the 346 past athlete of the week winners.
This week we had five Rowell’s Garage female athlete of the week nominations. Sydney Gallop scored eight goals and had two assists in two games to help the Central girls soccer team to a 2-0 week. It the second athlete of the week honor for Gallup, she also earned AOW on October 21st, 2019.

- Sydney Gallop- Hermon- soccer- had three goals in 5-1 win over Ellsworth. Had five goals and two assists in 7-0 win over Caribou.

- Olivia Hill- Foxcroft- soccer- had 18 saves in 3-0 win over Dexter.
