BANGOR- The Wisdom Lady Pioneers jumped out to a 17-2 lead and never looked back in a 54-20 win over East Grand in a Maine Principals’ Association Class D girls basketball semifinal game on Wednesday night.
Lilly Roy scored 16 of her game high 24 points in the first half as the Lady Pioneers held a 31-4 halftime lead.
Victoria Gilman had eight points to lead the Lady Vikings. East Grand finishes the season with a record of 12-8.
Roy led the Lady Pioneers with 24 points, four rebounds, and three steals. Olivia Ouellette added 10 points and five rebounds. Abbie Lerman chipped in with eight points, four assists, and three steals. Wisdom (20-0) will play in the regional championship game on Saturday morning at 9 AM. against top seed Southern Aroostook.
