Hunter Hartsgrove – Katahdin – basketball- recorded a triple-double with 41 points, 12 steals, and 11 rebounds in a season opening 68-28 win over Lee Academy. Hartsgrove had 1040 of the 2179 votes, edging Amelia Callnan (Houlton) by 14 votes. Hartsgrove is the second student/athlete from Katahdin high school to earn athlete of the week honors, joining Matt Birmingham (6-9-13).
