The University of Maine football team announced on Wednesday they have 14 newcomers thus far that have joined on in the early signing period. One of those incoming players is Noah Carpenter from Leavitt High School who is up for the Fitzpatrick Trophy this season as the top senior player in the state of Maine. The Black Bears have gone 2-9 in each of the last two campaigns (3-13 in conference play).
