Female nominations

  • Ava Goulette- PCHS- track- at Brewer track meet on 5/11/24, 1st girls shot put 34-5-5.50, fifth girls Javelin 81-7, 1st girls Discus 106-9, alld three throws were personal records. The Discus is a new school record.
  • Mackenzie Graham- Central- softball- She picked up three wins this week from the circle. The Red Devils defeated Dexter, PVHS, and Lee Academy. She went 4-9 from the plate with a double, triple, and three RBI.
  • Lily Noyes- Skowhegan- softball- allowed one hit and struck out 13 in 12-0 win over Bangor. Pitched four hitless innings and struck out seven in 10-0 win over Lawrence.
  • Natalie Simpson- Bucksport- softball- allowed five hits and struck out 18 and allowing only one walk in 1-0 win over Orono in 8 innings. Pitched a complete game allowing four unearned runs in 12-4 win over MDI.
  • Addy Waning- Hermon- softball- hit a grand slam in 5-0 win over Old Town.
  • Mia Coots- Nokomis- softball- earned the win, allowing two runs, five hits, and didn’t issue a walk, and struck out eight in 13-2 win over Oceanside.  Pitched a two hitter, didn’t issue a walk and struck out 13 in 13-0 win over Cony. Pitched a one hitter, allowing only one walk, and struck out 12 in 6-0 win over Hall Dale that snapped a 62 game winning streak for Hall Dale.
  • Bella Cirone- Washington Academy- softball-  pitched a two hitter in eight innings, allowing one run, walking three, and striking out 16 in 2-1 win over Foxcroft.
  • Brooke Smith- Woodland- softball- pitched a three hitter, allowing one run, one walk and striking out 17 in 4-1 win over Narraguagus.

Male nominations

  • Tyler Priest- Old Town- baseball- the freshman pitched 4.1 innings with nine strikeouts, and didn’t allow an earned run, plus had four RBI including a three run homer in loss against Bangor. Over four games, he has pitched 13.2 innings with 23 strikeouts, zero earned runs, and opponents are batting .176 against him.
  • Blake Littlefield- Brewer- baseball- pitched a one hitter with 17 strikeouts and allowing one walk while getting two hits, scoring four runs in 16-0 win over Camden Hills. Had one hit and three RBI in 9-1 win over Mt. Blue.
  • Gavyn Holyoke- Bucksport- baseball- pitched a complete game four hitter, allowing three unearned runs, allowing zero walks, and striking out 11 in 5-3 win over Orono.
  • Jack Day- Foxcroft- baseball- went 3-5 with a double and five RBI in 13-2 win over Dexter
  • Colin Peckham- Hampden- baseball- pitched a two hitter, allowing two walks and striking out seven in 5-0 win over Camden Hills.
  • Ashton Ellis- Searsport- baseball- reached base five times, scoring four runs, adding two hits, and three RBI in 18-6 win over Jonesport-Beals. Pitched a complete game three hitter striking out 18, allowing zero walks and four unearned runs in 10-4 win over Sumner.
  • Noah Kain- PCHS- baseball- reached base three times and got walk off hit in bottom of the 7th inning in 2-1 win over Bangor Christian. Pitched a complete game, striking out 13 and allowing one earned runs in 4-3 win over Dexter.
