Connor Goodman of the Maine baseball program was named 2024 America East Man of the Year during the end of the year banquet for the conference on Wednesday night.
Goodman becomes the third Black Bears athlete to earn the honor joining Kelton Cullenberg (track and field, 2014) and Holly Stewart (field hockey, 2015).
Maine women’s basketball player Anne Simon had also been named a finalist for America East Woman of the Year that was awarded to Morgan Petty from Albany softball.
