The 2025 Hockey East Women’s Postseason Tournament bracket is set. The Maine Black Bears clinched the #6 seed on Friday night, and gets a bye into the quarterfinals. Maine (11-20-3, 10-14-3 in the conference) will visit #3 seed Boston College (20-12-2, 16-9-2) next Saturday, March 1st at 4:30 p.m. The Black Bears lost all three regular season meetings against the Eagles (3-1, 5-1, 5-0).
The opening round gets the playoffs underway on Wednesday, February 26th with the #7 and #8 seeds hosting #9 and #10. After re-seeding, the top two seeds will host the opening round winners in the quarterfinals while #3 hosts #6 and #4 hosts #5 on March 1st. The semifinals take place on Wednesday, March 5th. The league championship game is set for Saturday, March 8th at 12 p.m. at the Toscano Family Ice Arena on the campus of the University of Connecticut with the winner earning an automatic bid to the NCAA Division I National Tournament.
