Sea Dogs walk-off on the Fisher Cats in the 10th inning of the home opener

Max Ferguson hit a walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the 10th inning Tuesday night, as the Portland Sea Dogs defeated the New Hampshire Fisher Cats 2-1 in the home opener at Delta Dental Park at Hadlock Field.

Abraham Liendo had two hits for the Sea Dogs, while Blaze Jordan knocked in their first run with an RBI sacrifice fly. Yordanny Monegro started on the mound and gave up one run on two hits with one walk and six strikeouts in 3.1 innings. Wyatt Olds (2-0) pitched a perfect 10th inning with three strikeouts to get the win. Yohendrick Pinango had a solo homerun for New Hampshire (1-2).

The Sea Dogs are now 4-0, and will continue their home opening six game series with the Fisher Cats on Wednesday night at 6 p.m.
