Maddy Morris (Skowhegan), Mackenzie Toner (Erskine), Brooklyn Federico (Monmouth), and Megan Oberholzer had two hits each to lead Thomas softball to an 8-5 win over UMF in game one of a doubleheader on Monday afternoon.
Toner and Teresa McLinden had two RBI each. Oberholzer got the win in the circle for the Terriers. Olivia Paradis (Thornton) powered the UMF offense with three hits. Maddie Pike (Kennebunk) had three RBI.
In game two, Addy Boyce (MDI) pitched a complete game shutout to lead the Terriers to a 1-0 win. Boyce allowed four hits and three walks, while striking out four. Morris had the RBI, Federico scored the run.
