Noah Kain hit a double to score Chase Farnsworth in the bottom of the seventh inning to give Dexter/PCHS a 2-1 preseason baseball win over Sumner on Thursday afternoon.
Kody Kimball had one hit and one RBI for Dexter/PCHS. Kimball and Ethan Doherty each pitched two innings. Willis Rienhardt pitched the final 3 innings to earn the win.
Logan Crowley pitched a strong game for Sumner. He pitched a complete game, allowing two unearned runs on two hits and four walks, while striking out 15.
