Madeline Hill dominated with the bat and her arm to lead Valley softball to a 16-5 win over Richmond in the regular season opener.
Hill reached base four times, including two hits (double and triple), two stolen bases, four runs scored, and four RBI. In the circle, Hill allowed five unearned runs on three hits and two walks, while striking out seven.
Kirsten Bigelow and Isabella Clark each scored three runs, while Delia Hill had three RBI. Aubrey Swift had two RBI for the Bobcats.
