USM sweeps Colby in softball doubleheader

Ella Bezanson reached base four times with three hits, two runs scored, and two RBI to lead USM softball to a 10-4 win over Colby in game one of a doubleheader on Sunday afternoon.

Kendall Migliorini, Meaghan Dufresne, and Olivia Levasseur had two hits each for the Huskies. Lexus McIntosh pitched a solid six innings to earn the win. Mia Coots (Nokomis) pitched a perfect 7th inning with two strikeouts. Ella Wilcox (Windham) had three hits and two RBI for Colby, Emma Burnham (Bonny Eagle) had two hits. Game 1 box

Coots got the win in the circle in a 7-3 game two win for the Huskies. Dufresne had a big game with two hits, including a homer, two runs scored, and three RBI. Bezanson also hit a homer. Maddy Paradis had three hits and two RBI.  Kelsey Sullivan (Brunswick) and Wilcox had two hits each for Colby.
