The Husson Women’s Outdoor Track and Field team would finish third overall in the NAC Championships held in Waterville on Saturday, while four Eagles would take home individual conference titles.
Ava Dowling (Hampden Academy) won the title in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 11:59.44. Lexi Freeman (Lewiston) won the individual championship in the pole vault by impressively clearing 3.00 meters and breaking the program record in the event that was previously 2.90 meters. Megan Fletcher (Dirigo) was the third Eagles titleist by winning the hammer throw with a distance of 38.88 meters, while Molly Dearborn captured the conference championship in the 400 meters with a time of 1:03.40.
