Orono took advantage of an error and scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to get a 5-3 baseball win over Dexter/PCHS at the University of Maine on Wednesday afternoon.
Chase Farnsworth and Chase Lander each reached base for the Tigers. Brady Gaw allowed five unearned runs on three hits and three walks, while striking out eight.
Will Francis reached base twice for the Red Riots. Kason Bagley pitched three shutout innings of relief to lock down the win.
