Jackson Curtis (Ellsworth) and Matt Wallingford (Leavitt) from Husson University took home major postseason baseball awards the North Atlantic Conference announced on Wednesday.
Curtis was named the Player of the Year, while Wallingford for the second consecutive season is the Pitcher of the Year.
Several other Eagles players were also named to the first and second team, Chris Morris and his coaching staff were named Coaching Staff of the Year, while Justin Salvatore also made the All-Sportsmanship Team. The NAC Champion Husson Eagles (24-14) are preparing for their first round NCAA Tournament game at host Kean University on Friday at 11 a.m.
