The Portland Hearts of Pine men’s professional soccer club upset Detroit City FC 4-2 in the USL Jagermeister Cup at Fitzpatrick Stadium on Saturday night.
It is the second win for Portland over a championship side team (also 2-0 over Hartford Athletic on April 26) in their first year of existence. The Hearts of Pine had four different goal scorers in the victory, and Kash Oladapo made seven saves in the net in his second start of the season. Portland now sits in third place in a tie with Detroit in Group D of the Jagermeister Cup standings.
