Husson got a pair of goals from Averi Baker (Hall-Dale) on Saturday afternoon in blanking Thomas College 3-0 in Central Maine Collegiate Field Hockey Conference action at Bernatchez Field in Waterville.
Faith Tillotson (Thornton Academy) opened the scoring as her eventual game winner came 4:12 into the first quarter. The Eagles held the Terriers to just three shots on goal, as Ella Duchette (Brunswick) earned the shutout in the cage. Husson improves to 3-5 and 2-0 in the CMCFHC, and will host #11 Bowdoin College on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in a non-conference match.
