PCHS jumped out to a 26-2 lead after the first quarter and rolled to a 76-29 boys basketball win over Greenville on Friday night.
Brady Gaw scored the first basket in the second quarter to put the senior to the 1000 career point mark.
Gaw is now the 7th leading scorer in PCHS history, as he finished with 18 putting him at 1006. He is 18 shy of Fred Blake and 43 from the 5th leader scorer in Pirates history Mike Graf. Bryce Gilbert is the all time scoring leader at PCHS with 1474. Other 1000 point scorers in PCHS boys basketball history are Ken Thomas- 1069 pts, Buddy Leavitt- 1400 pts, and Kobe Gilbert -1096 pts.
Gaw finished with 18 points, 10 rebounds, five steals, and four assists. Chase Lander also had 18 points and eight steals. Noah Kain added 15 points and eight rebounds. Freshman Finn Goulette had a big night in his first high school game. He had 12 points, six rebounds, and six steals.
Elijah Denham led the Lakers with 11 points, Landon Theriault added 10 points and seven rebounds.
