Zach McLaughlin (Hampden Academy) had a game-high 27 points on Saturday in Farmington, in helping to lead the UMF Beavers men’s basketball team to a 91-83 win over Husson in North Atlantic Conference action.
McLaughlin added nine rebounds as UMF improved to 8-3 and remained unbeaten in league play at 5-0. Jason Reynolds (Winslow) also had a big game with 20 points and 12 rebounds. Kory Donlin (Medomak) contributed 18 points, and Brayden St. Pierre (Maranacook) put in 16 points. Gil Matondo and Connor Heald led four players in double figures for Husson with 18 points a piece. The Eagles fall for the first time in the NAC, slipping to 5-3 and 4-1 respectively.
