Brayden Dana had 24 points, seven rebounds, six assists, and one block in leading Woodland to a 64-52 win over Calais. Dana received 1727 votes to claim male athlete of the week honors.
Dana joins Ryan Lincoln (5-20-12), Damon Lincoln (9-29-13), Drew Hayward (9-30-18), Emily Curtis (2-4-19), Karleigh Smith (3) (2-11-23), Ethan Monk (2) (1-4-23), Evan Monk (1/13/24), and Jordyn Phelps (10-30-25) as student/athletes from Woodland High School that have earned athlete of the week honors.
Kooper Dionne (Bangor) was runner up with 1583 votes. Other nominees this week were Andrew Oliver- Mattanawcook, Gavin Fanjoy- Erskine, Brady Gaw- PCHS, Owen Corrigan- Caribou, Eli Cullen – Waterville, and Nolan Ames- Camden Hills.
