The Central Maine Community College women’s basketball team put 13 players on the scoresheet on Thursday, and remained undefeated by rolling to an 89-39 Yankee Small College Conference win over Vermont State Randolph at Shape Gym in Vermont.
The Mustangs, who are ranked #1 in the country in USCAA Division II, were led by Hunter Hartsgrove (Katahdin) and Anais Balla Zambo who both had 12 points. Hartsgrove was 3-6 on three-pointers and added 10 rebounds, three steals, and two assists. Zambo grabbed eight rebounds. Zoe Bedford contributed 11 points. Gabbie Tibbetts (Oxford Hills), Keilani Horn, and Caitlyn McCoy (Leavitt) each chipped in nine points a piece. CMCC is now 16-0 (8-0 in the YSCAA).
