Abbie Quinn (Bangor) and Carly Davey each scored 21 points on Friday night, as the #8 Bowdoin women’s basketball team knocked off #14 Bates 62-49 in a top 15 NESCAC showdown in Brunswick.
Sarah Hughes and Elsa Daulerio (Mt. Ararat) both scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the loss for Bates, as the Bobcats fell to 13-2 and 2-1 in the league with both defeats coming to Bowdoin. Davey (6-7) and Quinn (9-18) combined to shoot 15-23 from the floor for the Polar Bears, who improved to 13-1 and 3-0 in the NESCAC.
