The Penobscot Valley Howlers outscored Dexter 34-19 in the second half and rolled to a 47-30 boys basketball win on Thursday, January 15th at Ed Guiski Gymnasium.
Noah Austin scored 11 of his team-high 14 points in the fourth quarter. Austin also had seven rebounds. Ryan Dawson recorded 10 points, six rebounds, and two blocks for the Howlers. Darius Miranda put in nine points (8 in the first quarter). PVHS (5-6) will be at Calais on Monday afternoon.
Bryce Cooper had a game-high 15 points for the Tigers. Cooper also had eight rebounds and four steals. Dexter (4-8) will be at George Stevens on Tuesday night.
