Stephanie Gualtieri broke her 6 dive record at John Bapst with a 209.3 in a meet at Belfast. Gualtieri earned The Sports Arena female athlete of the week with 2,566 votes. Molly Takatsu (Gardiner) finished runner up with 1450 votes. Gualtieri is the first John Bapst student since 2021 to win athlete of the week.
Gualtieri joins Emily Tilton (2) (9-29-11), Austin Spencer (10-21-12), Crystal Bell (1-7-18), and Allen Wheaton (6-10-21) as student/athletes from John Bapst that have earned athlete of the week honors.
