The Boston Red biggest need going into the offseason was builpen help in front of closer Craig Kimbrel.
The Red Sox addressed that in a big way on Tuesday morning. They traded Travis Shaw and two top prospects SS Mauricio Dubon and RHP Josh Pennington to the Milwaukee Brewers for Tyler Thornburg.
Thornburg had a K/9 of 12.1 last season. The Red Sox have him under their control for the next three seasons.
