Emily Collins came off the bench to spark Presque Isle to a 48-37 Class B girls basketball quarterfinal win over Hermon on Saturday night at the Cross Insurance Center.
The Hawks held a one point lead after the third quarter. The Wildcats outscored Hermon 18-7 in the final eight minutes. Collins finished with 13 points. Georganna Curtis and Breanna Burlock added 10 points each. Curtis also had six rebounds, two assists, two steals, and two blocks.
Rebecca Balmas had 18 points and nine rebounds to lead the Hawks. Abbie Bradstreet added 11 points with six assists.
