The USCAA announced the field and the schedule on Tuesday for the upcoming Division II Basketball National Tournament to be held in Buffalo, New York March 2-7. The Central Maine Community College women, Southern Maine Community College men, and the University of Maine-Augusta men’s and women’s teams are all in the field to take a shot at a national championship.
The CMCC women’s team, who won their ninth straight YSCC league title, is the overall #1 seed. The UMA women, who was runner-up in the YSCC, earned the #2 spot. The SMCC men, who rallied from a 16 point second half deficit to win the YSCC championship over UMA, got a #3 seed. The Moose men as an at large got in at #7.
