Husson baseball wins their first game of the 2026 season, rallying from a 5-0 sixth inning deficit to beat Russell Sage College 13-7 on Wednesday night in Davenport, Florida. It is also the first career win for the Eagles new head coach Zach Sugar. Cam Rendell hit a three-run homerun in the comeback victory, and Matt Holmes (Bangor) knocked in four more runs and had two hits. The junior outfielder has 12 RBI in four games this spring. Max Hopkins (Hermon) earned his first career collegiate pitching win in relief allowing one unearned run in 2.0 innings. Husson (1-3) will take on Marymount University on Thursday afternoon.
