Husson womens lacrosse opens conference schedule with a win over Thomas

Husson women’s lacrosse opened the North Atlantic Conference portion of their schedule with a 16-3 win over Thomas College on Saturday afternoon at Boucher Field in Bangor.

Averi Baker (Hall-Dale) led the Eagles charge with five goals and three assists. Kate Boehmcke added three goals and an assist, Madison Lower (Winslow) had three goals, while Adella Mabee (Orono) registered two goals and one assist. Laela Martinez (Bangor) also contributed one goal and two assists, and Gracie Gardner also chipped in three points with two goals and one assist. The Thomas College Terriers got a goal each from Isabella Pelletier (St. Dom’s), Katarina Olvera, and Jorgie Arduini as they fell to 2-3 and 0-2 in the NAC. Husson (5-2, 1-0) will host Maine Maritime Academy on Tuesday at 5 p.m. in league action.
