Bucksport softball used two big innings on Monday afternoon, and would rally past Narraguagus 12-6 in a Class C matchup played at Bucksport High School.
With the Knights leading 5-3 in the fifth inning, the Golden Bucks (2-1) took the lead for good by scoring four runs in the bottom half of the frame and then added five more in the sixth. Avery Robshaw had two hits and two RBI to lead Bucksport and Emma Clement knocked in three. Robshaw and Marina Keene scored three runs each, while Lexi Raymond and Layken Varnum would score twice. Keene won in the circle with a complete game effort allowing five earned runs on seven hits with four walks and 14 strikeouts. Lola Worcester and Natalie Stanwood each had three hits for Narraguagus (1-1). Stanwood had four RBI with a solo homerun and a three-run homer. Worcester also hit a solo homerun.
