Madison Shaw had two hits and one RBI, and Sara Young pitched a complete game in the circle on Friday night to lead Brewer to a 4-1 softball win over rival Bangor at Coffin Field.
The Witches (2-2) scored three times in the first inning to take a lead they wouldn’t give back. Olivia Gilmore also added two hits for Brewer. Young allowed just the one run on three hits with one walk and five strikeouts. Emma Tripp had the RBI for the Bangor Rams (3-3).
