Former Orono High School standout runner Ruth White continues to make history. White (University of New Hampshire) placed ninth in the NCAA Tournament East First Round in Lexington, Kentucky on Thursday night in the 10,000 meters with a time of 33:08.83. That qualified her for the NCAA Nationals in Eugene, Oregon coming up on Thursday, June 11th. It will be her second straight appearance in the NCAA Nationals.
