Andrew McKenney tossed a complete game one-hit shutout on Monday evening, as the Hammond Lumber Riverdogs stayed unbeaten with a 9-0 win over the Roderick-Crosby Post 28 Flyers in a Senior Legion Baseball game played in Farmington.
The Riverdogs (10-0) scored three times in the second inning, two of them on wild pitches, and that is all they would need. They put up a six spot in the seventh in their final at bat. Rogan Lord had three hits, Andrew Cote added two hits and one RBI, while Wyatt Allen and Noah Kain both would contribute one hit and one RBI. McKenney threw 101 pitches and would strike out nine and walked five. Parker Smith had the lone hit for the Post 28 Flyers (6-4).
