The Greater Southern Maine Senior Riders (Sanford Post 19) were eliminated at the Senior Legion Baseball Northeast Regional in Massachusetts on Friday afternoon by Vermont State Champ Essex Post 91 by a score of 10-1.
Cassius Hogan, Noah Lachance, and Baxter Flagg had a hit each for the GSM Senior Riders. The Maine State Champs end their season with a record of 15-8. Chris Morgan (three hits, three RBI) and Alec Davis (two hits, two RBI) led Essex Post 91 (24-7) who is now 2-0 in the tournament.
