Lexi Morin (Brunswick) had the game winning goal on Saturday afternoon, as the University of Southern Maine women’s soccer team won their Little East Conference opener with a 3-2 victory over Mass-Dartmouth in Gorham.
Ani Roberts (Bangor) and Ava Walsh had the other goals for the Huskies (3-2 overall). McKenzie Vano (63:06) and Halle Brown (26:54) combined to make seven saves in net. USM will play a non-conference match at Husson on Wednesday night at 6 p.m.
