Husson men’s soccer had five different goal scorers on Wednesday night, and breezed to their second victory in a row by defeating the University of New England 5-1 in non-conference action on Boucher Field in Bangor.
The Eagles scored four times in the first half, with Jorge Mora scoring the eventual game winner that made it 2-0 in the 30th minute. Cesar Soucre, Miguel Diaz Alvarez, Carlos Davila, and Santiago Jimenez had the other goals. Jimenez also added one assist, while Chadi Hamadi had two. Jamie Barr was in net and made one save. The Nor’Easters (3-4-2) lone goal was scored by Haukur Karlsson. Husson (2-3-1) will play another non-conference match on Sunday on the road at Colby.
