Foxcroft put three in the goal in the first quarter and cruised to a 9-2 field hockey win over Dexter on Tuesday night at the Jim Robinson Field House.
Addie Rayfield got the scoring started on an assist from Ava Dunton with 8:33 left in the quarter. Just 1:03 later, Dunton got one on an assist from Ella Hutchinson. The Ponies converted three penalty corners into goals, including Dunton finishing one off on an assist from Lilah French with two seconds left in the first quarter.
Rayfield and Jenna Hartford had one goal each in the second quarter as Foxcroft took a 5-0 advantage into halftime. The Hartford and Rayfield combo helped the Ponies take a 6-0 lead just 44 seconds into the third quarter.
Rayfield and Dunton each finished with three goals. Dunton also had two assists. Hartford had two goals and two assists. Maddie Coffill added one goal, while Jadenne Frigon had one assist. Foxcroft (8-0) will be at Central on Wednesday afternoon.
Maddisyn Davis and Kaitlyn Cookson each had one goal for the Tigers. Olyvia Watson and Lilly Wintle had one assist each. Dexter (4-3) will be at PCHS on Thursday afternoon.
