The Husson men’s golf team shot a +13 collectively over Friday and Saturday at Bangor Munipical Golf Course, good enough to beat out second place SUNY Delhi (+22) and capture the 2026 North Atlantic Conference Championship. That earns the Eagles an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament next May. This is their fifth conference title in the last six seasons.
Husson had three individual performers in the top four, including Juan Carlos Hernandez who finished as the medalist with a +1 total over his two rounds. Chase Farnsworth (Dexter) was tied for second with a +2, while Ty Dickson was fourth firing a +3. Michael Bruce (Fort Fairfield) also made the top 10 individually, as he was sixth with a +7.
The Eagles will finish out calendar year 2026 by competing in the New England Intercollegiate Golf Association Championship at the Captains Golf Course in Brewster, Massachusetts next Saturday and Sunday. The NCAA Tournament will take place May 18-21, 2027 at Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia.
