Some of the top teams in class B North boys will take the floor on an otherwise light high school basketball schedule for Thursday.
The current top team in the class B North Maine Principals’ Assocation standings is the Hermon Hawks. They will play at Old Town. MDI (6-0) is second in the standings, they will host the fifth seeded Ellsworth Eagles. Central is fourth and will host Mattanawcook.
Mother Nature put a hold on the Bangor/Brewer rivalry for two days, they will get their chance on Thursday night. The Rams and Witches girls will play at Brewer, while the boys matchup will be in Bangor.
The Shead Tigers girls team will take their 6-0 record to Jonesport-Beals. The top team in the current class D boys standings is Southern Aroostook. The 6-0 Warriors will host 6-3 Easton. Lee Academy boys will try to stay unbeaten when they travel to Guilford for a matchup with PCHS
Eastern Maine Sports will have live audio coverage of the Foxcroft at Dexter boys basketball clash. Dexter (4-2) currently sit third in the MPA class C North heal point standings. Foxcroft (1-5) is hoping to grab a much needed heal point worthy victory.
