Skowhegan/Nokomis and Hermon/MDI girls highlight a busy Thursday night high school basketball schedule

Key girls basketball games will highlight a busy Thursday night high school basketball schedule.

Skowhegan (8-0) will host Nokomis in a class A girls matchup that will highlight the action. The Indians are 8-0 and at the top of the Maine Principals’ Assocatiom class A North heal point standings. The Warriors are 7-1 and third in the class A standings. 

Messalonskee will be shooting to go 9-0 in class A when they travel to Lawrence. Houlton is 7-0 in class B, they will host 7-2 class c Calais.

The Hermon girls will travel to Bar Harbor to meet the MDI Trojans in a key class B contest. The Hawks are 8-1 and at the top of the MPA class B standings. The Trojans are 7-2 and looking for a big heal point worthy victory. Waterville (5-3) will host MCI (6-3) in a game with big heal point implications.

Southern Aroostook will be looking to move to 8-0 in class D as they travel to class C Hodgdon. Shead is 9-0 and will travel to 5-3 East Grand. Stearns (9-0) will host Lee Academy. 

Gardiner will travel to Cony in boys action. Winslow (7-0) will host Maranacook.
