Kenzie Worcester played all 40 minutes, scoring 28 points (10-15 FG) in leading the Husson Eagles women’s basketball team to a 76-73 win over Colby at Newman gymnasium on Tuesday night.
Chandler Guerrette scored 13 of her 24 points in the fourth quarter. Guerrette shot 12-12 from the free throw line, including 6-6 in the third quarter. Husson outscored Colby 24-16 during the quarter
Worcester also recorded six rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Darla Morales added 12 points for the Eagles.
Husson (12-1) shot 20-27 from the free throw line. Colby (7-7) shot 12-18 from the line.
Husson now has a 19 game home won-streak. This was Kissy Walker’s 700th game as coach for Husson women’s basketball.
