Female nominations

  • Natalie Tardie – Hermon- soccer – had two goals and one assist in 8-0 win over Caribou.
  • Teanne Ewings- Houlton – cross country-
    She has consistently been one of the fastest runners each and every week of the regular season thus far regardless of classification.  She routinely will have the top times week after week regardless of location and course difficulty, often times even besting times from other athletes on courses of shorter distances and easier difficulty.
    This weekend at the largest single day high school sporting event in New England, the Maine XC Festival of Champions, Teanne ran to the runner up position (#2 overall) falling only to Park View (Nova Scotia).  Her time of 18:16.19 was nine seconds ahead of the next highest place Maine runner.  A total of 97 teams were represented at the festival, including 85 teams from Maine (all but 1 Class A school, all but 2 Class B schools, and missing a handful of smaller class c programs).  In total Teanne out ran 640 other high school female athletes and was the number one Maine finisher.
  • Abilene Corson- Dexter- soccer – had one goal and five assists in 6-3 win over Penobscot Christian.  Had one goal in 3-0 win over Greenville
  • Jaiyde True- Foxcroft – field hockey- had a hat trick in 5-0 win over Mattanawcook.

Male nominations

  • Jaxson Bragg-Ouellette – Brewer – football – He had 22 carries for 119 yards and 3 touchdowns in 52-32 loss to Oceanside.
  • Aiden Harvey- Foxcroft – football – had a rushing touchdown, made two extra points, and a field goal in 17-0 win over Hermon.
  • Morgan Judkins Brewer – football – the running back had 134 rushing yards and three touchdowns. on 21 carries in wi. Over MCI.
  • Thomas Day- Foxcroft – football-  led his team with 10 tackles, 3 tackles for loss , a sack, and an interception in 17-0 victory over Hermon.
  • Tanner Oathout- Mount View – soccer – had eight goals and three assists in 3 wins this week.  Had two goals and one assist in 3-1 win over Belfast. Had three goals in 3-1 win over George Stevens. Had three goals and two assists in 8-0 win over Lawrence.
