The high flying Bowdoin College women's basketball team flies higher still and beats Bates 66-56 to win the New England Small College Athletic Conference championship in Brunswick. Maria Belardi scored seven points in the fourth quarter to ice the win.

Bowdoin improves to 25-2 and earns the conference’s automatic bid in the NCAA Division III tournament.
